Qpalm - Herbs 1.0 is a PDA application including single herbs with full color pictures and herbal formulas.

In Single Herbs section, it has 32 primary categories and contains 350 single herb pictures and descriptions.
In herbal formula section, it covers 272 herbal formulas.
It will cover the California State Acupuncture Licensing Exam and the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists and Oriental Medicine Exams (NCCAOM).

-> 350 single herbs pictures and descriptions (the botanical, English and pinyin versions of the name, properties, entering channels, what it does, application and special attributes.)
-> In herbal formulas, 272 herbal formulas are listed according to alphabetical order or categorical order.
-> Herbal Formula Pinyin Name, English name, Category, Diagnosis, Indications, Clinical Application, ID of Pattern, Caution, Ingredient (hierarchy, nature, dosage, function).

Installation Instruction
1. Connect your device to your desktop and make sure the status of ActiveSync is active.
2. Download the demo
3. Run the QHerbDemoEng.exe after downloaded, the file will help you install the software automatically.
4. Read the following document to find out how to install this demo program
on your pocket pc.
5. Please read this if you have any problems
with Microsoft .NET Compact Framework(.NET CF).
For Windows Mobile 5 / 2003 user.
Some Pocket PC have old version of Microsoft .NET CF. In this case our setup file won't install .NET CF because old version of .NET CF already exists in your Pocket PC.
This case you need to install .NET CF 1.0 SP3 manually.
To manually install .NET CF, please perform following steps.
1. Download it from Microsoft website directly.

2. Run NETCFSetup.msi
For Windows Mobile 6 user.
If you use PDA with Windows Mobile 6, you must not have .NET CF 1.0 on your
PDA. If there is .NET CF 1.0 on your PDA, you will get an error message "Error
code: 0x80000002" when you run Qpalm software. If so, uninstalling .NET CF
1.0 from your PDA will solve the problem.
Please select download and
install a program for Mobile 6.
